Delete your Corally account and data

Last updated: October 14, 2026

How to ask for your Corally account and its associated data to be deleted, what is removed, what is kept and for how long. Corally is the adventure bike route app and website by Miguel Ángel Llorente Carmona.

How to delete your account

You can delete it yourself in under a minute, without writing to us, from the app or the website. Before you delete, if you want to keep your data, use “Download my data” in “My account” on the website.

  • In the Corally app (Android or iPhone): open the “Account” tab, tap “Delete my account” and confirm both times (“Yes, delete everything”). You need a connection.
  • On the website (corallyapp.com): sign in, open “My account and routes”, click “Delete my account” and confirm with “Yes, delete everything”.
  • By email, if you can't sign in (forgotten password, lost access to the app…): write to [pending: contact email] with the subject “Delete my account”, from the address you signed up with. If you write from another address, we will ask you to confirm the account is yours. We will reply and delete the account within one month at most (the deadline set by the GDPR).

What is deleted

Once you confirm, deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. We delete:

  • Your account: name, email, password (stored as a hash), language, preferences, your Google or Apple identifiers if you signed in with them, and all your open sessions, on the website and in the app.
  • Your routes and checks: routes saved in “My routes”, planned routes and the GPX files you uploaded and checked (including unsaved ones), and your “Received” inbox.
  • Your recorded rides (“Recorded”).
  • The links you created to share routes, checks or rides: they stop working immediately, without waiting for them to expire.
  • Your track ratings (verdict, tags, notes, your position when you marked them) and their photos. The photo files are removed from the server in the next automatic cleanup, which runs every hour.
  • The phones registered to receive notifications.
  • Any riding data you contributed (speeds and stops per track).
  • Usage metrics linked to your account (pages visited and actions under your user) and your quota counters.
  • If you signed in with Apple: Corally's authorisation at Apple is revoked before deleting. If Apple doesn't allow it at that moment, the account is not deleted and you are told; try again later.

What is kept and for how long

Apart from what follows, we do not keep your name, your email or your routes.

  • Backups: they may contain your data until they are replaced on rotation, a few weeks.
  • Technical error logs: 30 days at most. App crash reports: 30 days at most, without your name, email or position.
  • Waiting list: if you joined with your email, that entry is not deleted with the account; it stays until we give you access or you ask to leave. To have it deleted, write to [pending: contact email].
  • App notifications: Expo, which delivers them to your phone, logs the IP address and basic request data for about 30 days. If we sent you an invitation by email, Brevo keeps its sending logs under its own policy.
  • Already expired share links: they delete themselves 3 days after being created, whether or not you delete your account.

Signing in with Google or Apple

Deleting your Corally account does not delete your Google or Apple account, and uninstalling the app does not delete your Corally account. If you signed in with Google, you can remove Corally's access in your Google account, in the security section, under connections to third-party apps and services. With Apple, Corally revokes access when you delete the account; you can also stop using “Sign in with Apple” with Corally from your Apple ID settings.
